The project explores the body in a state of alert and the emotions it evokes in the observer: wonder, fear, fascination. It investigates the differences in perception between human and animal bodies, male and female. The performer constructs a symbolic habitat between nature and identity, between stillness and the urge to flee. It is a choreographic study that creates a wild and human memory, lived in the here and now of the performance. The audience, close and engaged, becomes an active part through their gaze.
The dance is inspired by Le Livre des Oiseaux by painter Andrea Marescalchi, influenced by the Persian poem The Conference of the Birds. The bird figures, perched rather than in flight, embody the tension between stillness and movement. The colors celebrate the harmony and diversity of natural elements.
